The new Ghymes album titled Álombálom (My Dream Ball) - released in November – has reached Golden Record qualification in just a few weeks, and the Platinum Record qualification in slightly more than a month. Many thanks for all who bought the album. |

The Ghymes band holds its 25th Anniversary Concert in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna, starting at 8pm, January 10th, 2009. This occasion will also will be the concert premiere of the new Ghymes album titled „Álombálom” („My Dream Ball”), which is to be released at the beginning of November. The evening’s guests will be: Sándor Fábry performer, the Honvéd Táncszínház (Honvéd Dance Theatre Company) (coreographer: Zoltán Zsuráfszky) and the Budapesti Ifjúsági Kórus (Budapest Youth Choir) (conductor: Ágnes Gerenday). Tickets for the concert can be bought in the Ticket Express offices or in the international Eventim network. |

The certificate and the golden badge representing the award, was given to the band on September 20th, 2008, in a ceremony held in the Ceremonial Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. |

The brand new Ghymes album titled „Álombálom” („My Dream Ball”) will be released at the end of October. The monumental live premiere of the album will be held in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna, on January 10th, 2009. |

The music of the performance, which tells the life story of Count Móric Benyovszky, one of the most important world travellers and discoverers of the 18th century, was written by Tamás Szarka and will be performed live by the Ghymes band. In the monumental international production there will be four Hungarian dance groups on stage, as well as dancers from several countries of the world, like Africa, France, Poland and Russia. The dance production will be recorded on video, which will be broadcast by the Duna Television at 8pm, August 10th (Sunday). |

The set of the Ghymes Band's platinum records has expanded: the album Mendika, that was released last fall, reached platinum qualification, too. The band could announce this news to the public at the successful concert held in the Kőbányai Szabadidő Központ (Kőbánya Leisure Centre) on April 18th. Thanks to all, who bought the album! |
